About the Bible

The Bible is God's word to everyone for all time. It was written by human
authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The scriptures are the
full and final authority on all matters of faith and practice.
About God

God exists eternally as one God in three persons: the Father, Son and Holy
Spirit. God is the Creator and Sustainer of the universe.
About Jesus

Jesus is the Son of God, the second person of the Trinity. He was born to
the Virgin Mary by miraculous conception. Being both fully God and fully
human, He lived a sinless life, perfectly revealing the Father. By His
suffering, death and resurrection, he provided the only way to salvation.
He rose from the dead after three days, and ascended to heaven where He
reigns. Jesus will return visibly in power and glory.
About the Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity, not a mere force. His
inner prompting makes people aware of their need for Jesus. The Holy Spirit
is given to every believer at the moment of salvation, to empower them to
live a holy life and to grant gifts for service.
He guides all believers
into truth, and believers become like Christ as a result of submitting to
His leading.
About Humanity

Men and women are created by God in His image and all are loved by God. We
were made to know God personally and to glorify Him in our lives. However,
in addition to the wonderful promise and potentional, each of us also has an
inner attitude of rebellion against God's leadership in our lives. This
attitude is called sin. Sin separates us from God. God so loved the world
that he provided the gift of His Son, Jesus to bridge the gap.
About Salvation

Salvation is a gift of God which we receive through faith in Christ - it
cannot be earned. We are saved by grace not by works. Salvation includes
forgiveness, a restored relationship with God, progressive transformation, and eternal life.

About the Church

The church is the invisible network of believers who are united to Christ by faith
and continue his mission to the world. Local churches or congregations exist to
build up believers, to serve their communities, and to proclaim Christ to their
neighbors. Our church gathers weekly on the seventh day of the week, Saturday,
following the pattern established by Jesus and the apostles.

About the Ordinances (Sacraments)

We believe that Christ commanded all people to be baptized as a public confession of faith.
Jesus also taught his followers to remember his death, commit to other believers, and anticipate
his second coming by sharing and celebrating the Lord's Supper.

About Eternity
We believe that Jesus will return literally and visibly to judge the living and the dead.
We believe in the resurrection of the body, those who have been united with Jesus
will
rise to receive eternal blessings, and those who did not believe in the Son will rise to be
condemned. God will create a new heavens and a new earth without sin, sorrow, or death.
